With cold and flu season sneaking up on us, I wanted to clarify a few NEW precautions for ALL up coming appointments. If you have ONE or more of the following symptoms days leading up to your appointment, please cancel and reschedule your appointment. Symptoms include:... Fever Cough Runny nose Headache Muscle aches Shortness of breath Loss of taste or smell Upset stomach Increased fatigue I am closely monitoring my personal health & completing daily self assessment before coming to work. If for any reason I show signs or symptoms of any illness, I will be rescheduling appointments until I feel it is safe for myself to return to work or I receive a negative covid test. I am also strongly suggesting pre booking your next appointment/ appointments as spaces are becoming limited! Hello clients Please read the entire post, it’s a long one. I will be returning to work AUGUST 24! But I will only be coming back part time.... WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? * My hours will be cut down to 3-4 days a week (hours unknown yet) * I will no longer be doing shellac or manicures * I will no longer be accepting debit or credit. Cash or emt only * You can make appointments by calling/texting 1-807-853-0418, Facebook at Snip it or , Instagram at snip.it.dryden. RETURNING CLIENTS: If you are feeling ill days leading up to your appointment, please cancel. I will not be charging a cancellation fee if you are Ill. All clients will be screened before entering the building and are required to wear a mask during the duration of there appointment. Please bring a mask or one will be provided at cost. There will be no double booking appointments, one client in at a time until further notice. With new sanitation and cleaning policies, my prices have changed. There will be no waiting room, I will text or call you when you are able to come in. I will meet you outside with a covid screening checklist, hand sanitizer & a mask if needed. As we are all waiting the date of reopening salons and spas across Ontario, it is with a heavy heart that, I announce I will continue in my self isolation due to personal health until I feel confident and safe to return to normality. I understand that it has been a long and difficult few months, however with being immunocompromised I feel, although, I want to get back to work, it is not what is best for myself or my family. In preparation of work return which has NOT been announced in phase 1 Here is a tentative guideline for salons etc in personal service to get prepared to care for you .... This will not be easy for your favorite salon to do. There are many rules to keep you all safe, main ones are outlined below but feel free to read the attached article. I am sure there will be more details from the local health unit to be added to Ontario general recommendations...... Clients and stylist... will be required to wear masks so bring one to your appointment we can not do your services without one Clients Can not be in salon waiting areas Hand sanitizer will be required at the door and health evaluation temperature checks and social distance may be required Bring your own water in bottles and food Pre booking is recommended What can CLIENTS do to help salons navigate THIS new 'normal' you ask? Know you were missed terribly and your stylists is grateful for your return.... Know safety measures were created for ALL involved. Know the importance of coming alone, extra people in a salon compromises everyone, and as in the attached article is not recommended. Know your stylist cannot physically work 16 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all. Know your initial services will take more time as we will have to clean between appointments Know that coming in sick is NOT an option YOU WILL BE ASKED TO RESCHEDULE Know that walk-ins will not be an option for salons- call the salon before you leave home. Know that rescheduling hundreds of clients will take time... Know that your stylist is thrilled to see you but doesn't want or need a hug, your presence is the best hug ever. Know that your health is the biggest concern. Know that your stylist may choose to open at a later date than has been announced being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/ her brain and heart. Know your stylist has already lost dollars and has no desire to replace it with a ventilator for either of you, be patient. Know that if your health is already high risk, you need to wait, your health is more important.. Know that a 'soft opening ' will be anything but soft. We have-many clients who need us as much as you do * When this will happen we still don’t know Know that your OPINIONS of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety are, keep the conversation to hair and how we can make you beautiful Know that while trying to connect with your stylist there are hundreds of others attempting the same thing, responses will be slow coming as your stylist is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously Know, above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than your stylist- help make it the best appointment ever!!
