What a wonderful August long weekend , the weather was spectacular, the fish were biting, lots of bouncy castle and floating ice berg fun for the kids. We even had some special guests arrive for a Saturday afternoon ride! (Photos attached) Special thanks to Curt & Sharon Sandboe for putting on such a successful party that everyone enjoyed immensely. We continue to proceed with scheduled development of our drainage improvements, lake front site construction, and fine tuning t...he resorts infrastructure. Sites are selling quickly in phase 1 and all signs point to a banner year for our new lake front community. 11 sites come online this week and are ready for purchase. Looks like summer is finally here ! We have a beautiful set of summer days gone by, with more to come! We are officially sold out of seasonal Leases for the 2020 season! Shaping up to be a fantastic summer out here; fish are biting , boat launch has been revamped, dock is in the water with seats and plenty of boat docking space. We are still selling sites for purchase in phase one so come out and visit! A Special thanks to Veteran Oilfield Services for their support in completing phase 1 lake front sites, we are hoping for a July 21 move in date! 3 birthday parties this weekend! Happy birthday to Mel, Andrew and John! Everyone made it thru healthy and happy ! A spectacular fireworks show finished off the Friday night festivities and a special thanks to Arlene for surprising us all! We are full steam ahead moving into the summer with lakefront sites being serviced later on this week. This will open up opportunities for new members to enjoy our lake front community. We have 2 sites remaining for lease but once lakefro...nt comes online, we will be opening up 5-6 more sites to enjoy the rest of July, August and September with us. Our floating iceberg climbing wall arrives tomorrow and we should have our bouncy castles set up in time for Canada day as well. Building a new community isn’t easy! With the support of new members’ selfless contributions, and helping out when someone is in need, seems to happen regularly out here, and speaks to the strength of what we are building! As we move forward with our plan to finish up the lake front site servicing we welcome all our new members and thank them for their support! We have a wonderful summer planned with fireworks shows to music, bouncy castles for the kids, and a surprise aquatic floating kids playground to boot! We had beautiful weather to start May long weekend 2020, Friday and Saturday evening sunsets were magical. Lots of laughing and playing around with the kids, a successful first long weekend of the season!
