Thanks to DK Excavating, Snow Brothers Contracting and @https://teamk-os.ca/ Maintaining the network of organized snowmobiling trails in Ontario takes the suppo...rt of generous landowners, tireless volunteers and permit purchasers who choose to support the clubs they feel provide the best enjoyment from their snowmobiles. But there is another group of people who lend their support to us as well. Local business and contractors. It's been a difficult year for some but despite that we had three who really stepped up to the plate to answer our needs this season. When volunteer Trail Captain Bruno Kerkhof found a work around to get us off some of the road between the B202 and Belwood we were overjoyed. We also realized the trail would need some work to meet standards. DK Excavating and Snow Brothers Contracting provided us with the aggregate material and trucking required to get us set for success. When our other volunteer Trail Captain Sean Henwood saw our post pounders he knew he could make something better. What he gave us is tool that made the hard work of putting in over 2500 wooden stakes alot easier. It's easier to hold, easier to get really good force in every blow and alot lighter than the traditional ones. Much needed 40" Culvert Replacement. The original culvert was in rough shape and resting on bedrock, so we replaced it with a nice new culvert and ensured it had a proper base removing bedrock underneath as necessary.
