Social Media Is Not Simple 08.12.2020

I am trying to do this every day on this page. Perhaps you could do it too?

Social Media Is Not Simple 28.11.2020

It's not every day that you have one of your performances shared not once, but twice on Instagram (@malakaimusician and on the Duncan Showroom 's page, by the iconic singer, James Taylor. Local singer, songwriter, roadie and overall musician extraordinaire, Malakai covered James Taylor's 'Steamroller Blues' and the rest of the story is covered here in the Cowichan Citizen. Read the article and just imagine that the talent of this 11 year old.....and the strength of social m...edia..... might just shine a big spotlight on himself, the Duncan Showroom, Duncan and its arts community! I don't know Malakai but I have heard him perform many times in conjunction with my work with the The 39 Days of July team. He is magical. https://www.cowichanvalleycitizen.com//cowichan-singer-ma/

Social Media Is Not Simple 11.10.2020

I have often used this page to highlight great Social Media techniques and expertise. With very little exception, I have only highlighted great posts from the Cowichan Valley. I spend a great deal of time as part of the services Social Media Is Not Simple provides all over social networks and one most certainly sees the good, the bad, and the ugly. This post from Venturi-Schulze Vineyards is certainly the great because of how the text is written. Yes, the image is fine ...- and will catch the eye of those of us who have had the wherewithal to purchase or the luck to receive some of their over-the-top good balsamic vinegar. But the post is...........actually.........hilarious. And it is compelling and it's got a call to action. But the last sentence is the best! Patti Maher, shall I buy you another bottle?
