One year ago today... On October 27, 2019 we had an unexpected call from our landlord telling us we might want to come to the cafe to see the damage a drunk driver caused at 3:30 am that morning. The accident put us out of business until March 13th, 2020. Then on March 21 we were forced to close again due to Covid19. We finally reopened a third time on June 1, but with the obvious restrictions due to Covid19. I hesitate to share the following but just so you know what many s...mall business owners deal with: * We had loss of incomeinsurance, but did not qualify for any benefits because of the short time we had been in business. * We do not qualify for any government loans or grants for small business. * We have had the added expense of adjusting our business for Covid19 We don’t ask for your pity, but for your support as a small #ldnont business. We are thankful for the great support we’ve received from the community, but we need more people to ditch the habit of buying from the big chains & support us. So we’d love it if you grabbed your coffee from us or one of London’s other local, independent cafes.
