Yesterday was our annual Umpire Appreciation Lunch at JBSC. Great weather (aside from the standard Blumberg wind), great lunch and great to see so many in attendance (in a physically distanced way). Congratulations to all award winners and those with special years of service recognition, especially our Wayne Deschouwer Umpire of the Year recipient Rick Knutt. A full listing of award winners can be found on the Softball Manitoba website. And a huge shout out to all of our first year umpires- it was a challenging year to learn to umpire but you all did great and we hope to see you on the diamond again next year!
