KEEP OUR MARKETS OPEN TASK FORCE Following the COVID-19 pandemic, hundreds of thousands of people are fighting for their lives and our economy is in danger of lurching to a halt millions of livelihoods remain in danger of falling on the bottom side of the coin. Never has the need to build a more sustainable, inclusive world economy been clearer or more urgent. Therefore, we are thrilled to announce that Solar E-Cycles Kenya (SEC-K) is officially a part of the Keep Our Mark...ets Open Taskforce appointed by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works. The task force is wholly aware of the disruption the COVID-19 pandemic has had on micro, small and medium enterprises and thus, in keeping with the Governments strategy, will pursue strategies to protect lives and consequently, livelihoods. This Taskforce shall take the lead in developing a public health standard-compliant strategy for keeping our markets open in major urban centres throughout the country, as well as developing a self-sustaining, self-financing model for Covid-19 compliant market stalls and mobile market models. We commit to understanding the challenges in mobility, energy, public health safety and beyond experience in fixed and mobile markets within urban centres and thus, providing timely solutions to meet the needs across major urban centres across Kenya. A good explanation of what we are doing in Kenya with Solar E Cycles. We are looking for investors to develop this concept on a large scale for 2 billion Africans in 2050, the continent that will experience the highest population growth and for which the transition to renewable energies is absolutely essential. We need a total of 50 million euros to make this a reality, which is very little compared to the impact of this solution.... The return on investment is very fast, around 3 to 4 years including operating costs. In addition to providing clean energy for travel, our solar vehicles create many jobs and truly green growth. We have won prestigious awards such as the Valeo Innovation Challenge, and are labeled by the Solar Impulse Foundation as an effective and profitable solution. So far we have made many achievements with little financial means, and have assembled a team of enthusiasts, in Kenya, Morocco, Canada, South Africa and France. The goal is now to move to the industrial phase of the project. Thank you for sharing and forwarding to investors wishing to participate in the world of tomorrow, clean and profitable.
