Beautiful set up by Colin in British Columbia, Canada of these Solar Vacuum Tubes. Helping to heat his hot water and his winter space heating. Thank you Colin for the great picture.
Wonderful working with this Kombucha brewery on there Solar Thermal project. It contains 3 times 32 SunRain vacuum tube collectors along with a Arctic Heat pump. They do their brewery while it is sunning to take advantage of the suns free heat energy.
Ever wonder what the difference between a vacuum tube and flat plate collector is? https://www.solartubs.com

Here is a great installation by Richard out in BC, Canada. This customer uses the thermal energy to heat their domestic hot water and supplement the hydronic heating in the winter. With expensive electricity cost the solar thermal greatly reduces the overall heating budget.
Here was a real life testimony of one of our customer systems surviving Hurricane Irma! Subject: Hurricane Irma Alan, just thought I'd let you know that we had wind gusts of up to 100 mph, but my solar system stayed solid, stable and unbroken. Since it occupies a very noticeable position at the front of my house, neighbors have questioned how it will do in a serious storm. No problems. We were without power for seven days. When the power came on, the temp at the top was ...registering 260 plus degrees. It had vapor locked, but running a Hose into the input and letting out water on the output drove out the air. It took about thirty minutes to get the topside temperature down to the operating range of 110 to 120. Thereafter it had operated fine! Hope this finds you well. See more
Imagine heating your house in the middle of the winter with solar thermal! This customer installed 5 SunRain vacuum tube collectors that provide space heating in the winter and heats the family pool in the summer. Vacuum tube collectors are 4-5 times more efficient at space heat than solar PV panels. For more information visit us at http://www.solartubs.com
Here is very nice installation form our friend Leon in Rhode Island. This 8 panel system is geared toward providing the home owner with most of their heating demand. The steep angle ensure peak performance in the winter and shed snow. For more information on space heating visit us at https://solartubs.com
This large residential project provides all the families domestic hot water and heats a large indoor pool. Excess heat is used to heat the pool room via a water to air handler. For more information visit http://www.solartubs.com

The worlds largest solar plant uses solar thermal not PV. Is this the future?
This installation in St Barts, Carbibean heats the domestic hot water, pool, and 2 hot tubs for the resort owners. 10 Collectors line the roof discretely. The flat roof line is optimal for the southern latitude. Where energy cost are high such as in the Caribbean a solar heating system can pay for itself in 2-3 years.
here is a nice installation sent to us from David Beatty in Florida. This system uses an SPH-3 to heat a 30' x 15' pool.
Agriculture is one of the top industrial applications for solar thermal energy. Here is a dairy farm in Pierz, Minnesota. The 5 x SunRain TZ58-1800 30R collectors are used to pre heat 2 x 105 gallon water tanks to about 180 degree each. Sterilization is a very big part of the Agriculture Industry and large roof spaces and open skies make solar thermal ideal. Not to mention great federal incentives! for more info visit http://www.solartubs.com
