I am a proud and grateful previous recipient of an AbbVie IBD Scholarship. Thanks in part to this, I have achieved my goal of opening a psychology practice www.solastacounselling.ca. Part of my mission is to support fellow ostomates and people fighting IBD who need support to manage the impact of IBD on their lives. I am trained to support those struggling with the trauma and loss involved in living with IBD and the impact of painful, invasive and body-changing surgeries.
