"As we kick off a new weekly feature showcasing some of our favourite events, it's very fitting that Matt and Maya's wedding is our first! This event was not only one of my favs to execute, but also as a guest! Matt's mom is the world famous event planner, Judy Stein (@judysteinconsulting). Judy and I have been working together for over 25 years, and are also great friends. She has always been the biggest supporter and it was my absolute pleasure to help with Matt's wedding (...not to mention that I was the DJ at Matt's bar Mitzvah, lol). Now on to the wedding...the venue was Château Le Parc (@chateau.le.parc), and Fiona (@feestemz) from Stemz (@stemzflowers), made the room look incredible! We had our flagship band Sole Power Live holding it down, and were able to help enhance the vibe with the perfect lighting and staging for that room. Everything was perfect for Matt and Maya! I like the expression "Go out on a high note"...so here we go! Our last artist feature is the highest of high notes (both figuratively, and literally!). Vaness is truly the absolute best. I knew when I decided to feature our acts on a weekly basis, that I wanted to close off with her. It just wouldn't be fair for anyone to follow her - lol! What can I say that our followers don't know already...she is the total package. A dream performer, a dream to work with, and a dream of... a human. Her stage presence and vocals are the perfect combination of engaging, electric, defying, romantic, and stright up murder (no joke, if you have ever heard her sing Drake's "Hold On I'm Coming Home", it actually feels like someone is about to get killed). If you look up the total package in the dictionary, I'm sure there would be a picture of Vaness. I know how much all of you love her as well, so let's hear it for Vaness! Lots of love to all of our team members (those featured and the hundreds that weren't). You're all family to me. Jesse is truly a once-in-a-lifetime talent. He continues to impress me with his vocal and guitar playing abilities. Since he joined our team, we have had the pleasure to watch him grow on the events side, as well as with respect to his career and original music. Jesse instantly fit in with our company culture. He has a great reputation, and is admired by all of his peers. He is one of those talents where clients fall in love with him at every single event he plays at. I think we will hear the name Jesse Gold in music circles for years to come! Remember where you heard it. @abbytobias

I’ve always preached to our team to try and sell what YOU love. Sell the people YOU would want to book for your own event. When I heard this band, I really loved them. Their character, song selection, and chemistry really caught my eye. So, rather than telling my team how great they were, I proved it to them. I had our sales staff come check out one of their live shows. DONE AND DONE! Everyone saw what I saw, and loved what I loved. Sweet Talk is as tight as any band in the city. With a small make-up (4 piece) it makes them incredibly versatile to play any size room and any type of event. They often refer to themselves as the "human jukebox" of bands. I find that super fitting. Great band, great dudes! @abbytobias
