rbox3 - a special effects package for XPP - has been used in production for the first time. Doesn't sound like much but it can draw dotted, dash and up to 5 element custom dash patterned borders on a box with independently radiused corners. This has not been possible with standard XPP.

"SpecTab" is being used to draw bottom AND top rules in an XPP table - something XPP can't do out of the box! It's first outing in real work. Next stop: production

The alpha release of "SpecTab" has been delivered to 3 test sites. SpecTab allows users to draw just about anything on an XPP table. It queries a table for all its dimensions and XPP tabular style parameters and allows users to draw rules, boxes and/or text with layering from their own custom macros. Beta release will be in August and the final release in time for the XYUG Conference in Miami.

Currently working on a fully-featured macro/Perl/PostScript package to enable SDL/XPP users to draw almost any type of tabular cell, row, column rule or background. Sample images will be posted here soon.
