Fall queer all bodies swing dance classes - 2 upcoming sessions Queer All Bodies Swing Dance Classes We invite you to join us for Solidance Swing classes - queer and trans-friendly Lindy Hop swing dance classes for people of all bodies and abilities.... When: Tuesdays, 7-8:30pm Where: Studio A - ATB Financial Arts Barns (south west entrance) 10330 84 Ave NW, Edmonton SESSIONS: Session 1: September 17th to October 22nd - REGISTER https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sep-oct-solidance-swing-all-bo Session 2: October 29th to December 3rd - REGISTER https://www.eventbrite.com/e/oct-dec-solidance-swing-all-bo Cost: Sliding scale $10 to $20 per class ($60 to $120 per 6-week session) REGISTRATION: Sign up solo or as dance partners on Eventbrite (only 14 spots available per session!) : If you do not have a credit card, or if you’d like to pay on the first day of class (rather than through eventbrite), you can sign up in person by emailing [email protected] with - the session you are interested in attending - The name, address, and phone number of each participant - and how you will pay on day 1: (cash or cheque) Swing Instructors: Kate Dawson and Caroline Cheng (supported by Solidance instructor Lindsay Eales) Dancers can learn one or both lead and follow roles, and can attend solo or with dance partner(s). *Solidance is committed to creating an accessible, queer-friendly, all-bodies space that centers respect and consent. Anyone who is willing to actively support these values is welcome to join! Instructors will be working with Solidance integrated dance specialists to help adapt the Lindy Hop for people who may use mobility devices - but we are still learning! This program is run in a wheelchair accessible space that has all-gender washrooms.

Come join us for class at 5:30pm and stay for the AGM, or join us at 6:30pm for some snacks and our annual general meeting. Please see the documents attached below for our AGM announcement, agenda, as well as year-end financials.

Fall intergenerational creative movement classes - 2 upcoming sessions What: We will explore integrated dance, creative movement, improvisation, ballet, jazz, and modern dance forms. Instructor: Lindsay Eales... Who is this for?: People of all abilities, genders, bodies, and ages. When: Tuesdays, 5:30-7:00pm Where: Studio A - ATB Financial Arts Barns (south west entrance) 10330 84 Ave NW, Edmonton SESSIONS: Session 1: September 3 to October 15, 2019 - REGISTER https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sept-oct-solidance-intergenera Session 2: October 22 to December 3, 2019 - REGISTER https://www.eventbrite.com/e/oct-dec-solidance-intergenerat Cost : sliding scale - you may choose to pay between $50 and $100 per 7-week session. If - for age or other reasons - a participant desires or requires support, we invite individuals offering support to participate free of charge.
