Our latest COVID-19 Communications April 14th, 2020 Dear Clients, Friends & Family,... For several weeks now, we have all been navigating the uncertainties we face during this current crisis. Our hearts go out to all those whove been impacted. At Solus Support Services, we remain strong in our commitment to support our community and continue the valuable work we do. Our entire team at Solus continues to work around the clock to ensure we provide our clients, families and community partners with the best care possible. We are passionate about the care we provide in our communities and recognize the need to protect you, your clients and our workers. This means we continue to screen our staff and the individuals we support daily. Our screening is evolving, we continually monitor and revise them as more information is becoming available on COVID-19. We work closely with our teams to ensure that anyone who is not feeling well understands we will support them staying home. What you can continue to expect from us Prior to each visit: All staff are screened daily for symptoms and risk factors of the most current signs and symptoms of the virus. Every client will be contacted before each visit to screen for symptoms and risk factors. If concerns are raised through the screening process, our service coordinators will be contacted immediately. Service coordinators will work with you and our team to determine the next steps in your care. Additional Information: Upon arrival at your home, our staff will thoroughly wash their hands and ensure they wash their hands throughout the visit. Our workers receive comprehensive education and training on the topics most critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. Such education includes Universal precautions, safe use of PPEs, overall education on COVID-19. At Solus, everything we do is with a commitment to the health of our communities.
