The Pause. I’ve been getting intentional about pausing as this holiday season approaches. Taking time daily to move my body (usually a walk in nature, yoga or somatic movement) and stillness (meditation or intentional breathing). Afterwards I feel more rested, calm, clear headed, grounded. It feels good! How to you take pause throughout your day? How does that make you feel? If you haven’t tried it find 5 minutes to get still and quiet, notice your breath, focus on that, allow other thoughts to pass by, don’t entertain them. Notice and release. If being quiet doesn’t sit well with you, slowly brew yourself a cup of tea, sit in silence as you sip or go for a slow walk in nature take in all the sights and sounds.
