We are so excited to announce that Emma Fernandes, RMT will be joining us at our Osoyoos location AT LEAST until the end of December (and we're crossing our fingers that she sticks around a little longer, too)! Emma is a recent graduate of the RMT program, and has been honing her skills locally while waiting for her exam results. Now she's chosen SOMT to get her feet wet helping our Little O office out! We are in the process of getting her schedule solidified, which is available online even as we're adding to it. So book yourself or call the office for an appointment with Emma!

The time has come! We are gradually opening the clinic and our schedules to allow bookings beginning the week of May 19th, 2020. Thank you all for sticking with us through this, your messages and well wishes have kept us going. We will be posting and sending out an email with an important document outlining the procedures and policies that clients must agree to in order to receive treatment. In addition, we will be contacting folks with booked appointments in order to move t...heir appointment times to allow for extra cleaning and sanitizing between patrons. To allow for these changes, each of us at the clinic is working away with our own schedules and will be turning online booking back on gradually. Hey everyone! As many of you have heard, Registered Massage Therapy has been placed in Phase 2 of BC's reopening plan. And we're just as excited as you are! We have truly missed being able to see you all on a regular basis, and we can't wait to get back at it. While we have been told that we will be able to reopen in Phase 2, it's not quite as simple as picking a date and opening the doors (as much as we wish it were). Legally, we have to wait until we receive clearance fro...m the Provincial Health Officer and guidelines from our regulatory body, the CMTBC. At this point, neither of those detailed outlines of what reopening must look like have come through yet, so we're as much on the edge of our seats as anyone. At this point, it's important for all of us to remember that Phase 2 only *starts* mid-May, so Massage Therapy may or may not be at the beginning of that process. As it stands right now, we've been crossing our fingers for May 19th, or the Tuesday after May long weekend, but as we get closer to that date, the more uncertainty we have. Ultimately, it's still up in the air and out of our hands. So, friends, until we get that go-ahead, we must continue to remain vigilant and respect the authority of the PHO.
