Hi everyone, It’s that time of year again when we start thinking about Chanukah and latkas. This year our annual Chanukah lunch will take place on Sunday Dec. 22, 2019 at 12:00 noon, at Sons Of Jacob, 211 Victoria Ave. , Belleville. If you wish you may participate in our gift exchange. Bring a wrapped gift, value $10.00 - $20.00 and you will receive a ticket for a gift of equal value. It’s always lots of fun! As in the past, there is no charge for members. Nonmembers pay $...10.00 per person. I will be picking up extra boxes of candles when I go into Toronto to shop for this event. Let me know if you need candles. They are usually around $2.00 a box. Come to the Lennox and Addington Museum in Napanee next Tuesday November 19 at 7 pm to see a Jewish Cultural and Music presentation by Dr. Judith Cohen. She will focus on songs of Sephardic Jews and Ashkenazi songs and their history. After the presentation the Anne Frank display will be opened. The cost is $3.00 per person. The musical presentation will take place in the courthouse beside the museum. It sounds like a great night and I hope to see everyone there!
