Today Sweltzer Creek Campground had to evict a customer for having a fire during a BC wide fireban when we clearly have displayed that there is a fireban at this time. Not only are people that are in this campground at risk but our home community Soowahlie is at risk when someone does not want to follow our Rules & Regulations. With the wind being what it is today, his campfire could have caused some damage. Thank you to other campers for making our staff aware right away and to security for responding quickly & RCMP response when the guy refused to leave. Please everyone be fire safe!
