So This Is Loving Life

Might be trying a few of these Saturday home with the kids while Nick is unfortunately working. Any tried and true fun Halloween treats you do each year?

Couldn't be more true. Growing up I certainly had an idea in my head of how life would turn out. What the goal was, the great love I would have, the pets, the job, the many children, and the beautiful house. I had a vision of how "on it" and knowledgeable I would be. How confident, stylish, fit and adventurous. I can say I am lucky to have my family; immediate and extended near and far ... Many details in achieving some of the above did not go as planned and still remain much different than the original picture. I've gained insight, witnessed raw and authentic events, experienced heartache, struggled emotionally and financially, and doubted myself more times than I can count, but have still come out the other side. We learn from every experience and life does not "owe" us something. We get from it what we put in. Yes, there is devastating inequalities in this world we cannot and should not turn a blind eye to. We can and should be a part of that change. Embrace where you are at, where you have come from, what you hope for the future, live and love in the present and do good whenever the opportunity presents itself

Ok tired of deciding upon a grey for the whole house....might so something more fun and match a green from the curtains with our teal blue wall....which one? I might be crazy but who cares
