Soul Point Acupuncture 02.02.2021

This is my new morning routine and I’m loving it. I’m sleeping better, which has been a big factor for me. The protein powder with turmeric, collagen and greens all go I my shake and my essential vitamins are always vitD (2000IU)and omega-3’s! I also@add magnesium in the evenings to help me sleep. As our bodies age we need an extra boost to keep the inflammation down, moisten our tissues and joints, rebuild west and tear and keep our mood nice and happy:) we carry all of this except the vit D. (We have an omega and vit D in one capsule so one less thing to take). #stayhealthy #acupuncture #trilliumintegrativehealthcentre #takeyoursupplements

Troubles with sleep? We have you covered at Trillium. These products are all very helpful but we also need to address the root of the problem. It is pain? Anxiety? Hormones? Luckily Acupuncture can help with all of these! Contact our clinic to find out more about getting a better sleep. If anything is going to help us make it through 2020, sleep is one of them! #chinesemedicine #sleep #insomnia #acupuncture #trilliumintegrativehealthcentre #sleeplikeababy

Do I need magnesium? Likely you do. And here’s why. If you drink alcohol, or coffee, don’t eat a perfect diet, are stressed, have a chronic disease or pain such as fibromyalgia/ IBS/diabetes/cardiovascular/crohn’s disease or take proton pump inhibitors... you likely need magnesium in your diet. ... Magnesium is needed in our daily health for over 300 biochemical processes in our body. It’s key role is to help produce energy in our body and is very important at the cellular level. It’s required to maintain muscle and nerve function, keep a regular heart rhythm, supports a healthy immune system and keeps our bones strong. It can get confusing when there are up to 10 different types of magnesium. Which is why here at Trillium we have reduced it down to two important types and I’ll explain why. Magnesium citrate. This is a perfect middle of the road form that is easily absorbed in the digestive system. This form can also cause loose stool, which is why it’s prescribed for people that get chronic constipation. And if you read my post about getting your greens you will remember that this important for clearing excess estrogen from our system if you have a heavy and painful menstrual cycle. This is a good form as it can be adjusted daily according to bowel movements. Magnesium Bisglycinate. This form is much more bioavailable and does not cause loose stool. It’s known for its calming and relaxing effect. This is why it’s great to use for sleep, muscle hypertonicity, cardiac issues, and chronic pain. I hope this helps and if you have any more questions about what might be right for you, give us a call or contact us at Trillium. #trilliumintegrativehealthcentre #bioclinic #magnesium #chronicpain #womenshealth #chinesemedicine #acupuncture #sleep #cardiovascularhealth
