It’s a bitter sweet feeling that we have to move the location but none the less we appreciate what these lands have provided us for 3 years! Kootenay Backcountry Guides have been getting after it and here’s their latest snowpack. We will be working together closely with their team to bring you the latest in snowpack reports and other information the Soulines community can find useful. #findyoursouline Also keep up to date with Avalanche Canada the hub of avalanche info. 2020 Soulines Backcountry Event Cancellation Notice Unfortunately due to land use issues with the BC Ministry of Forestry we will not be able to run the 2020 event. It has been a tough decision to make but with such short notice of their decision to not grant permission to use the rec site at Whitelady Lake we had no choice to cancel the event. Soulines is a Backcountry ski and Snowboard event that takes place just outside of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. Participants spend 3 days/2 nights high up in the Selkirk Mountain Range.
