My open letter to humanity in 2020 and beyond. Dearest Human Family, I honour your divine humanity. I honour and respect your divine right to choose what is best for yourself and those around you. I know that each one of us does what we feel is best and does the best we can with the understanding that we have in each moment. ... Times are hard. Times are confusing. Times are dividing. Times are heartbreaking. I trust that unity and love is our truth. Regarding the division. Regarding the choice to wear a mask or not to wear a mask. I know that whatever your decision is, you wholeheartedly believe that your decision is backed by honourable and true science and fact, and so you make the best possible choice for yourself, your loved ones and your community. As a human family, we have always been diverse in our world views, life choices, lifestyles. Can we honour each other in this way and trust that each individual is doing what they know to be true and best for everyone? There is no room for blame, shame or aggression in this place. There is enough division, enough hate, enough confusion. Can we accept each other’s choices without trying to impose something else on them or acting with aggression? RUMI says: Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. Ideas, language, even the phrase each other doesn’t make any sense..... THIS IS OUR TEST. THIS IS OUR MOMENT TO RISE AND SHINE.
