Today at 4 pm ET, join us at liveatmasseyhall.com/kathleenedwards for the premiere of acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards' highly anticipated 'Live at Massey Hall' film. In this 30-minute concert film, Edwards makes a triumphant return to the stage after a lengthy hiatus. She performs fan-favourites and premieres new material from what would later become her acclaimed 2020 album "Total Freedom" live at Massey Hall.

We put the "music" back in Massey Hall! Yesterday, was a momentous day! The exterior scaffolding was removed & our front façade was revealed for the first time, highlighting two extraordinary elements of the Massey Hall Revitalization Project: 1. The stone sign above our iconic red doors has been carefully restored to original glory & now reads MASSEY MUSIC HALL. "Music" was removed in 1911 when the fire escapes were installed.... 2. Marvel at the first of the 100 original 1894 stained glass windows that have been installed. Happy birthday to Canadian legend Gordon Lightfoot! Did you know? No other artist has performed more times at Massey Hall than Gordon Lightfoot who has played more than 160 times throughout his storied career. On October 21, 2016, Gord Downie brought 'Secret Path' to Roy Thomson Hall for a moving live performance. With the animated adaption of the graphic novel projected on to the stage to create an immersive multimedia experience, Downie told the story of Chanie Wenjack, a twelve-year-old boy who died fleeing the Cecilia Jeffrey Indian Residential School near Kenora, Ontario, in 1966, walking home to the family he was taken from over 400 miles away. : Jag Gundu Photography
