COVID-19 update We want to thank all of our valued clients at Sound Therapy Hearing Centre - Grand Bend and we sincerely hope you are all staying healthy and safe. For your convenience we will remain OPEN on a temporarily reduced schedule which include Mondays and Thursdays 10:00am - 2:00pm. These days will be reserved for minor service/repair, battery sales and stock-up of hearing aid supplies only. Please call ahead so we can stagger appointments/pick-ups so there are no client overlaps. Thank you and we sincerely do miss seeing all of you! Due to the circumstances as a result of COVID-19, we have decided to extend the draw date to Tuesday, May 5th. Dear all, We hope this correspondence finds you well and in good health. In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19, we want to assure you that the wellness and safety of our patients and team is our top priority. Although the Public Health Agency of Canada still indicates that the risk is low in Canada, we are continuing to monitor all updates and have put protocols in place to do everything we can to provide a safe environment for our patients and team. ... What you can do to help: 1. If you are sick, we ask that you please stay home and contact our office to reschedule your appointment. 2. If you have traveled outside of Canada in the past 14 days, please call our office to reschedule your appointment. 3. If you have developed a fever, cough, difficulty breathing and shortness of breath in the last 14 days, please call our office to reschedule your appointment. 4. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap is not available, please use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. 5. Should you need to cough, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or cough into your elbow. What we are continuing to do in the office to prevent the spread of any illness, including COVID-19: 1. Hand washing stations and hand sanitizer are strategically placed around the office to ensure that they are conveniently available to all of our patients, their family, and our team members. 2. Masks are available for use in the office if you feel more comfortable wearing one. 3. All high-traffic areas such as door handles, desk surfaces, etc. are wiped down with disinfecting wipes; at least every hour. 4. We will be strategically scheduling appointments so there is little or no overlap in patient care. Even though we will be available for walk-ins, we strongly urge, and would much prefer for you to call the office to schedule an appointment for care. We are committed to the health and safety of our patients, and our team! At this time we are planning on staying open to assist you with your hearing care.
