South East Female Hockey Association SEFHA Stars To all female hockey players and parents;... I wanted to let you all know that the South East Female Hockey Association is once again expanding for the 2017-18 hockey season. This year, with the help of a new dedicated executive,SEFHA is looking at icing teams from IP/Novice up thru to Midget divisions (age 5 to 16). I would like all the girls who are eligible to play Atom, Pee Wee and Bantam this year to know that, if the registrationsturn out the way we are forecasting, we will be holding tryouts for a competitive team in each of those divisions. In person registration will be held on September 16th from noon to 5pm at the Superior Propane Center, in Moncton. You can also download the registration form from our website, under the events tab at www.sefha.ca and follow the instructions. SEFHA is committed to the Girls Hockey Experience and will be the association of chose for female players wishing to play on all-females teams from the Petitcodiac, Moncton, Riverview, Dieppe/Memramcook and Sackvilleareas. In addition, SEFHA is committed to giving back to the community, promoting team spirit and fostering lifelong skills/friendships. If you have any questions, please let me know by email. 2017-2018 SEFHA Competitive Programs INTRODUCTION SEFHAs board of directors is excited to announce the formation of Pee Wee and Bantam Competitive teams for the 2017-2018 season if the numbers allow. These teams will be open to girls from both zones under the SEFHA jurisdiction. They will be competitive teams with focus on development to prepare the players for AAA hockey in both Bantam and Midget levels of hockey, and beyond.... MISSION The teams will require a high level of commitment from both players and parents. We are proposing 2 hours of FULL ice practice as well as one home game and one away game per week. There will also be both off ice sessions and on ice skating sessions periodically to ensure proper development in all aspects of the game. These teams will play other local competitive teams, as well as compete in female tournaments. REGISTRATION Please note: You must register your daughters no later then September 16. A separate form will be available at the time of registration. Tryouts will be held the week of September 24th and the tryout fee is $80/player.
