October marks the end of a 45 year career for our founder Balwant Kainth or more affectionately known to his friends and family as Bill. As a young man Bill came to Canada with a education in the culinary arts and already extensive experience as a chef and a dream to start his own business. First came @motirajacatering a family owned and operated catering company specializing in exquisite Indian fare. Followed not long after by our flagship venue @southhalleventcentre a ve...nue so widely known it has been host to numerous VIPs over the years as well as some of the best events Vancouver has seen. We humbly thank Bill for his hard work over the years, for the business legacy that he leaves his children and staff, without him the South Hall family would not exist.
