South Vancouver Island Fishing Reports

Fishing has been great for both salmon and halibut in the victoria area ! Halibut are being caught anywhere from race rocks all the way to Darcy island . Salmon has been good in Pedder Bay and Constance Bank . Some nice big wild fish being released and lots of hatcheries to fill the bucket . ... Let's have everyone's reports and see some pics!

Let's see some pics and reports from the weekend

Three buddies took pity on me for being boat less and took me out fishing today. :) We started at clover point and it wasn't hot but had a couple fish up to maybe 9-10 lbs and got sealed on both grrr . ... Then headed out to Constance where we had pretty steady action for a couple hrs . Not much for size but some good eating fish to 7lbs . The hot set up was a Gibbs madi flasher with a silver horde cookies and cream spoon . Thanks for the fun day boys We 'll do it again in my new rig !

Just going through a bunch of pictures for a outdoor show in a few weeks and came across this beauty !!! I got the opportunity to take a bunch of Port Renfrew cut plug legends out halibut fishing in Pedder Bay . We had a great day and lots of laughs. ! Sadly one isn't with us anymore :( but I'm sure he'll be watching over camper creek come summer time .
