Just a reminder to residents, even though there is no fire ban currently, you still need a burn permit. These permits can be acquired by calling the station at 902-539-0163.

Happy Halloween .... Now remember South bar fire will be passing out treat tonight at the fire hall ... Please be carefull of the highway for the little trick or treaters on the side of the road so slow down

Hello everyone girl guides, sparks and brownies have now started up for the year at the south bar fire hall on Wednesday 6-7 pm if there are any little girls wishing to join please contact Katlyn Marie Blanchard on Facebook it is a great way for little girls to get creative, learn new things, do adventures outside and feel like they are part of a very special group.

Just a notice to people of the community of south bar the south bar department will have a crew on standby at their hall starting at 6 pm during this storm. Please stay safe and any questions or concerns please call the fire hall or if an emergency please call 911.

Santa's visit was a great time to see the kiddies have fun

Its that time of year again Santa is coming the South Bar Fire Hall on December 8. Time will be 2pm - 4pm. Santa will be passing out treats for kids and we will be serving hot chocalate. Don't forget to bring your camera for pictures. In case of bad weather Santa will be there on December 15th
