Our laneway always feels very patriotic this time of year! If I can somehow get some moose, geese and beavers to play ice hockey under these trees while eating maple donuts from Tim Horton’s, I might be able to turn Collingwood into the new capital of Canada! . Stereotypes aside, I have always been very proud to be born and raised in this amazing country, and these trees are a great reminder of just how lucky we are. . Now get outside and enjoy the scenery...winter will be here before you know it!

This view is almost as beautiful as a field full of purple for us! Our 4,500 plants have all had their fall haircuts and are ready to be tucked in for the winter. In another month these plants will all be covered and we can put our feet up while we wait for the snow to fly!

LAVENDER HONEY NOW AVAILABLE Our premium Lavender and Sunflower Honey comes directly from our own backyard! No processing, heating or enhancements, just 100% pure raw honey. Our hives sat amongst 3,000 blooming lavender plants and 10,000 sunflowers to achieve the delicately sweet floral taste. Timing is everything to ensure a premium product, hives are only placed in our field right at the start of our lavender bloom. Bees can travel up to 5 miles to collect nectar, ...but if placed in a highly concentrated area (our lavender field!) they will be happy working right next to their home! Once the lavender and sunflower bloom is complete, the hives are harvested right away, leaving us with a golden, sweet honey that has to be tried to be believed. Limited Quantity Available! Well folks, our 2020 season is a wrap! We want to thank all of you who have come out and supported us, who have left us kind words, and to those who have helped spread the news of our little farm. These past 4 weeks have been truly amazing and we can't thank you enough for making it such a wonderful experience for us. Let the distillation begin! Time to start stocking the supply of lavender essential oil for the next full year, so this baby is going to be packed every single day until all the flowers are gone! It’s a long process for a single batch, but oh so satisfying to see that oil collecting at the top of the funnel! Feel free to ask us about this process if you’re stopping by this weekend!

NEW WEATHER UPDATE !Modified! . I've updated my previous post which said we are not opening, I just took a stroll through the field and it is gorgeous out there!! We will open for as long as we can today! Rain doesn't look like it will hit us until the afternoon!

Well that’s a wrap on opening weekend! Thank you sooo much to everyone who came out to support us!! Met so many great people who all love lavender as much as we do. All of the effort we have put in over the last two years was honestly completely worth it to share it with all of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Looking forward to meeting more new friends next weekend!
