COVID-19 POLICY Effective July 13th, 2020 Our doors will still be locked, but our clients will be let in for food purchases and prescription pick-ups. Social distancing must be respected by keeping 6 foot space between yourself and other people in the clinic. we will have a maximum of one customer at a time in our reception area and this may result in a wait if we are at capacity. ... We will be allowing one client per appointment into the clinic. Masks will be mandatory when visiting the clinic for doctor appointments. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you at a cost of $1.00 per mask which will be added onto your transaction. If you would prefer to wait in your vehicle during the appointment, the option to have the doctor do the appointment over the phone is still available. Please sanitize your hands at upon entering by using the bottle provided at the front desk. Please be aware that receptionists MUST confirm the name and the number of anyone entering in case of positive COVID risk and to fulfill the requirement for potential contact tracing. We will have a maximum of one customer in the reception area at a time, and one within each exam room (max three customers in the building at one time). We still prefer debit or credit whenever possible. Owners with appointments may check in via a phone call or within the clinic upon arrival, and a staff member will bring them straight into an available exam room to reduce people in our reception area. Exam rooms, counters and debit machines will be sprayed and sanitized continuously throughout the day. Surgery drop-offs will still be done with a phone call check in. Appointments to see a Veterinary Technologist will still be brought into the clinic without the owner. Please call to check in when you arrive. Our answering machine is checked twice daily. If you are checking in, have an emergency, or need immediate assistance, please hang up and try again. For all other questions and concerns, feel free to leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. Alternately, you may email the front desk at [email protected]. If you are experiencing any new cough or fever do not attempt to come into the clinic. Please call for further assistance 204-255-0226 We will be continue to be open from 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. We will be closed on Saturday and Sunday for the month of July. Effective May 9th, we will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. We will be still be open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm. We are still scheduling essential appointments and surgeries. We have curb side pick-up for food and prescriptions. We are taking Credit card payments over the phone (preferred), we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All vaccinations are important for pets, however during the COVID-19 crisis, we are required to postpone wellness/vaccination visits for our healthy pets. However, we will continue to vaccinate our more at-risk pet populations. Please check out the following flow chart for more information. As always, we are just a phone call away if you have any questions or need clarification.

South End Veterinary Hospital COVID-19 Update We are still remaining open at the time. We do however, have some policy changes. Effective immediately we are implementing a closed door policy for the safety of our clients, staff, and community. Please call us in advance so that we can guide you in the best way possible. For scheduled appointments, we ask that you call us from the parking lot when you arrive. A veterinary team member will meet you at the door with your pet (pl...ease ensure that you pet is wearing a secure collar and leash or is in a carrier). You will be asked to wait in your car. The doctor will examine your pet and contact you on your cell phone with the results or plan for your pet. A veterinary team member will then return your pet to your vehicle. Our preference is to take payment over the phone. We are strongly discouraging cash payments at this time. For food or prescription refills, please call ahead of time and we can take payment over the phone and have the item(s) ready for you. Then when you get here, just give us a call and one of our veterinary team members can bring it out to your vehicle. Also, effective March 31, 2020 we will be reducing our hours. We will be open form 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00-4:00 on Saturdays. See more

Due to clients purchasing an increased volume of food, we are struggling to keep our shelves stocked!! We are asking our clients, if you have a pet on a Prescription diet to please call in advance to order food. We are then able to order any additional quantities you would like as well. We need only a few business days notice and can get orders in currently within 2 business days.... We do not want to cause alarm but we do want to make sure to have your pets food available when needed. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our hearts are with those in Australia affected by the fires and all of those trying to save the people and the wildlife.
