The Southern Alberta Chapter of the Huntington's Society has a volunteer opportunity available for Casino Coordinator! Casino's are run biennially (every two years), with our time slot coming up in either March or April 2021. What will you do as our Casino Coordinator?... 1-2 hours will be spent filling out casino forms and sending them to AGLC 5-8 hours with be spent recruiting volunteers through past volunteer lists and through your personal networks and getting everyone to submit casino volunteer forms, confirming volunteers as you get closer to the day, communicating casino details a week in advance, one day in advance etc. and making sure there are back up volunteers in case someone has to cancel 8 hours volunteering for at least the first day, dropping off forms and cheques onsite. We had a great time enjoying this beautiful fall weather we are having at our September Social Group at North Glenmore Park, that we thought we would plan to meet there again for our October get together! Please Save the Date: Thursday October 15th from 1-3pm. Our plan is to meet at the same spot (Snowy Owl Picnic Site) in North Glenmore Park and enjoy games, some hot chocolate and perhaps visit around the fire pit! ...
