We are in the middle of dress rehearsal and we are looking forward to sharing our music with the community tonight. Tickets are still available online until 6:30pm or you can pick them up at the door. We can accept cash, debit tap and credit tap at the door. Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight.

Our program list is quite extensive for tomorrow’s performance of Southern Winds, featuring works by Robert Nelson, Karel Husa, Mark Camphouse, David Stanhope, Richard Wagner, and John Weinzweig. Central to the program is Karel Husa’s Music for Prague 1968. Written 50 years ago, the work is a reflection on the Spring Reform movement in Czechoslovakia. This piece is a bold, dramatic, and deeply moving musical interpretation of the event. Tickets are available online at southernwindsensemble.ca. We hope to see you there!!
