Hello our appreciated Carwash Facebook followers! We have been dealing with inconsistent soft water issues for the last couple years ( you may have noticed) and have made several expensive attempts to resolve this. We recently decided to install a new and bigger water softening system. Unfortunately when the current system found out about this it decided to rupture one of its tanks. ( water and resin everywhere )... Thankfully the new unit arrived at supplier and we were able to get a rush on the install. All these words to say there will be no soft water until Wednesday and the Carwash will be closed all day Tuesday for the install. We were not prepared for these expenses and we still need / hope to add debit in the near future! We appreciate your patience!

Community Event Notification: Southey's 2nd annual spring shopping extravaganza is on April 8th from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Southey Memorial Hall. Upstairs and downstairs will be full of a variety of vendors. Admission $1.00. Concession with Taco in a bag, Sloppy Joe on a bun, Dainties, tea, coffee, pop and bottled water.... The Easter Bunny will be hopping around giving out treats to the kids and will be available for pics with pets, children or adults! Pictures with the Easter Bunny for only $10! All profit goes to help the furrbabies in our area so please come out and support this worthwhile cause. Donations will once again be accepted at the door. Draws for 1 children's door prize, 1 adults door prize and 1 draw basket for donations!

The BIG reveal - DRUM ROLL PLEASE!! (Not all donations are in yet but once they are all received) The total donation to the Southey Fire & Rescue Truck from the fundraiser on June 4, 2016 is ................................................$5071.25!!!! Thank you everyone who came out and washed their vehicles, ate lunch with us, or offered donations - thank you to all who supported this event and our community! Also a big thank you to everyone who helped us wash cars, flip ...burgers, help customers, collect money, or draw winners! Thank you to Southey Motors, AAA Dent Repair, Southey Lions Club, Paperworks, Rent 'Em from Rossy & RBC for helping us out with donations of time, money, food supplies, grill, poster printing, and supplying us with a handy dandy port-a-potty for the day! Thank you Carl & Lacey Redwood for your wonderful donation of matching all Carwash dollars spent between 9:00 am and 11:00 am!!!! Thank you to our mom's for donations of homemade buns and fried onions! Thank you to the Soccer Club for donating buns! The fundraiser was a huge success and we couldn't have done it without ALL of your help! I wish we could name everyone who helped out but the list would be too long - and that is a great problem to have - love how our community pulls together to accomplish a goal! MORE exciting news!! Donation offer from my cousin's hubby who owns www.saskgarages.com. He is willing to donate 10% of any flooring job done in Southey to the fire dept!!! Offer is available for any job booked or completed by July 31. If you are interested in protecting your concrete floor let him know!

Exciting news - Carl and Lacey Redwood have offered to match all Carwash dollars spent between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016!! Thank you so very much Carl & Lacey!!!!!
