Neighbourhood Resource Centres are facing a significant increase in requests for support with basic needs, with one of the most requested items being winter boots. Everyone in London should have warm, dry feet. The residents of South London are no exception. ... Our Yazidi community has just ended a 3-day fasting from 15-17th, and today is the celebration day. Looking back on the year we have gone through, the sharing of joy and happiness is always welcomed. While we may celebrate December in diversified ways, "there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.

More than 1200 people across the country participated virtually at the Pathways to Prosperity (P2P) National Conference on November 23 - 24. At the conference, Prof. Jason Brown and his student, Charlotte Carrie at Faculty of Education - Western University delivered a poster presentation, which was part of research work conducted in partnership with staff of the Newcomer Settlement Services of the South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SLNRC). We are excited to share w...ith you that the poster presentation was ranked first at the conference. The award is also the first of its kind to be offered at the P2P National Conferences. During the March lockdown, our main site had to close as part of London's COVID-19 response strategy.
