Starting next week SPG is back open!! While following all NB guidelines and restrictions SPG will be opening its doors! ... How it’s going to work; All appointments booked going forward stand. I will call you the day before your appointment and go over the new policies with you. Appointment times will be a little stricter then usual to help eliminate the potential for crossover. Anyone that had an appointment that was cancelled due to the closure will be shuffled in to the existing schedule. I will be working extra hours to try to get everyone in in a timely manner. Please understand that I am one human, with a lot of fluffy and dirty babes to take care of. Please have patience with me Reminder It is flea and tick season, so I urge you to go see your vet to get flea and tick treatments. SPG does not groom dogs with fleas. This seems like an extra important reminder right now, where days are going to be tight moving forward. Please check your babies often! One or two fleas are hitchhikers catching a ride, more then that can be easily be transferred in a grooming shop (evil little devils ) Thank you so much! IMPORTANT UPDATE South Paw’s has been receiving a flood of messages about grooming shops opening and questions about SPG. South Paw is remaining closed at this time. The Premier spoke directly about groomers yesterday, and even with social distancing he is asking for a few more days or weeks. SPG is going to respect the order and continue to hunker down. ... Now... some groomers may be open, and that’s completely okay! And I can understand how this is frustrating to the you, but please understand this is what the government believes to be the best practice, so SPG believes it is the best practice. Safety has and will always be South Paws number one priority. Keeping clients and my self safe included. Thank you so much for your patience at this time! it’s amazing how much support I have recieved from the little community we have made I truly appreciate each and everyone of you, including your lovelies

Hello Humans! SPG hopes everyone is Safe, Healthy, and Sane through this tough time. As most of you know SPG is closed due to the pandemic and with these uncertain times, I know your worried about your lovelies feel free to message if you have any questions on how to keep your babes comfy until they can come back! ... IMPORTANT SPG will cancel appointments a week at a time and continue to monitor the situation. When we’re clear to go back the schedule will pick up where ever it is. The goal is for the people who are on a schedule of every 5-8 weeks, you should only miss one groom (hopefully). The lovelies that come every 3-4 months that are missing appointments will be worked in to the schedule when we get back as quickly as we can. I want to thank you all for being so understanding at this time This is hard on everyone. We’re all stressed, scared and tired. We’re all ready to get back to the norms, and we’re all in this together I’m so lucky to have the fantastic clients i have. Thank you all so much I can not wait to get back in the shop and to see you all again

Hello Humans! Long time, no chat! However, it’s for a very good reason... SPG couldn’t be any busier! As the year comes to a close, I have been trying to put in to words how much I appreciate the support and the community that we have created... it’s truly amazing! I get to live my dream career every day because of you and your lovelies! There is a few small changes coming in 2020 (this will be long winded, but all important info!) ... #1 - With the amazing amount of support SPG has received, I am no longer taking new clients. HOWEVER there is an active waiting list for anyone looking to become a SPG client #2 - SPG will have a small price increase effective Jan 1st 2020. The increase will be roughly $5.00 on most grooming services. Now, a small disclaimer about the changes... SPG gets asked a lot why don’t you hire? And You should get an assistant etc. The main reason I don’t hire is because of your lovelies! Your babes are used to coming in to a quiet shop, with a one on one interaction. With no distractions, your loves get 100% of my attention while they are at the shop! I didn’t become a groomer to build a grooming empire (although it might be fun to be a queen )! Making more money to sacrifice the happiness of your loves -and the groomers sanity- is not SPG’s plan. Your loves, and you are SPG’s priority! AGAIN! Thank you This little idea has become the best career I could possibly imagine for myself I feel the love every day, and I couldnt have any of it without YOU! The joy of being a groomer is the opportunity to come in contact with so many amazing beings Everyday SPG gets interact with so many different personalities! These three are great examples of all the kinds of kinds that grace the shop each and every day! SPG gets the sweetest giants, the fluffiest babes, and the scrappiest little munchkins

These two little sweet peas are ready for spring!! Happy March 1st! This is a great time to start thinking about your Flea & Tick prevention for the upcoming seasons! Consulting with your Vet is always the best way to go when looking into options Reminder... South Paw Grooming does not do flea treatments. If fleas are found on the dog, it will be sent home. If the fleas are not caught at the beginning of the groom, there will be an addition $70.00+ charge on top of the groom. This charge covers the charge for pesticide spray, and the time it takes to clean the shop. If an appointment after the dog with fleas has to be pushed or cancelled there may also be an additional charge. These charges do not apply if your love has one or two fleas!! They could be picked up from anywhere and SPG is understanding of that! However a dog with multiple fleas and/or flea dirt will be counted and charged accordingly. This is not South Paw being mean! This is just SPG being as cautious as possible! We want you to check your little loves as often as needed and to get them on a treatment! Thank you so much for the positive vibes and support!!

Good morning Humans We are entering a busy season! With spring approaching, please remember to book ahead! Booking ahead is an easy way to make sure you get the spot you want! Currently SPG is booking 5-6 weeks out (with some small day times spots left around 4 weeks) ... Evenings and weekends book 2 months in advance! Please have patience with messages and phone calls! It’s taking a little longer then normal to get back to everyone, BUT SPG will get back to everyone

Hello Humans Well this has been a week, hasn’t it SPG has made it threw the storm with only a few leaks, however not everyone was so lucky! Here’s some bright little faces to help warm up your soggy souls this week! *** NOW FOR SOME BUSINESS *** ... Lately.. SPG has been busy. Which is amazing!! And being busy means SPG doesn’t have the same availability as it used to. This is becoming a problem... because saying no to you lovely people is just too hard! SPG wants EVERYONE to get in when they want to! SPG would like to announce that we are now doing extended bookings! Anyone who would like to book their next 3 appointments, next 6 or their next year FEEL FREE! You may think this is over kill, alittle crazy for dog hair cuts... BUT! There is no sweeter feeling in the world knowing that you will not have to worry about getting your floof in for there regular groom! Booking this way means that if you only can bring them in on Tuesdays at 1:00pm every 6 weeks you’ll (more then likely) be able to book that day and time for every appointment! Just send in your desired day of the week(with a back up day), time you are available, and also your preferred time between appointments (6-8-10 weeks)!
