On Sunday May 3 between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, SouthPaw Grooming & Wellness will partner with Hanna's Puppy Clips to raise funds for Fort Chip Animal Rescue Society in Fort McMurray. The FCARS relies strictly on community donations to make all they do possible. With the floods currently affecting the community and families of Fort McMurray, they need our help more than ever. You can read more about what they do on their website @ fcarsociety.weebly.com We will be offering nail... clipping services for our pet families, from the front yard at the Southpaw Grooming and Wellness Salon. This will be a one day only event, and by donation. As always, the health and safety of our pet families is number one. This will be a drop-in service and we will not be taking appointments. We ask that you either wait in your vehicle and allow our staff to cue your turn, or on the sidewalk as social distancing measures will be in effect. We have personal connections to the community of Fort McMurray, and we are heartbroken to see Mother Nature once again hitting them hard. We are grateful to have the opportunity to offer them any sort of assistance, in the spirit of Albertans helping Albertans. Dear valued clients With pet and client safety in mind Southpaw Grooming and Wellness has reopened with AHS social distance workplace procedures. We have built a no contact drop off area at our front porch to ensure social distance for everyone. All appointment will continue to be on a strict schedule to ensure no overlapping of clients. I’m allowing a full 15 min time gap between each client to ensure social distance and allow more sanitizing time to our already strict cleaning practices.
