It’s crazy to think that just 6 months into our church planting journey, church as we knew it would be turned upside down and different than ever before. Launching a new church comes with its own anxieties and unknowns, but then to have your baby steps of faith interrupted with a big change of plans, there were many opportunities for fear to creep in. However... as 2020 began to unfold our peace became overwhelming. ... Our community became stronger. Our love became practical. Our faith became selfless. Our reach became broader. Our hope became contagious... And our church became something much bigger than a Sunday morning experience, it became a community through unity. While many negative things happened in 2020, as we look at these Top 9 moments (according to social media), we are reminded of the good. The seemingly unthinkable and future dream, of adding another pastor to our team... a reality. The joy of blessing others with resources to make their burdens lighter... priceless. The birth of young friendships, formed in a church community... lifelong. While our first year of South Point didn’t look anything like we expected, we can truly say that we know as a community what it means for the Lord to work all things together for good. 2021, we are ready for you. What do you have for us, Lord? We commit it to you.

T O M O R R O W / Vern and Taylor Everett will be hosting their first Table night. If you have young kids, or are a young couple, this will be a GREAT table for you! Some people have asked, Will it be weird walking into a group of people I don’t know?, and while we understand the anxiety that comes with meeting new people, we KNOW that you are going to feel welcome, and have a great night with this group! What’s on the agenda for tomorrow? Food, friendship and fun. Obv...i. DM us for the Everett’s address!

This thanksgiving we are wanting to provide Thanksgiving In Box meal kits to as many families as possible. These food boxes will provide families with everything they need to have a traditional thanksgiving dinner, at no expense to them. Where do we start? The first thing we need are the names of people that would benefit from a little thanksgiving pick me up! Whether it’s for financial reasons, a hard mental health season, or a medical illness, we know that sometimes som...ething as simple as a free meal can be an answer to prayer. So who do you know? Who could use some good news? We have all needed a little help at one time or another, and we have all known the feeling of being blessed by generosity. Let’s share that with others, and be practical and generous with our love. DM us with names of families that could use Thanksgiving In A Box!

Today is our one year birthday since launching South Point. While this last year hasn’t looked like anything that we expected, it has truly been an amazing year. As we embark on year two for our little toddler church, we know that God has plans that we haven’t even thought of, yet. And while we have hopes and dreams for what He will do, we know they are small in comparison to His. ... Happy Birthday South Point! Thank you to everyone that volunteered last night at our community movie night! Whether you popped popcorn for 7 hours (), served coffee, scanned tickets, directed traffic, uncomfortably confronted rule breakers (), handed out coupons, or helped cleaned up... all of it mattered and we could not have done it without you! We love you, and we are so thankful for you!

Over the last number of years we have watched Kara become a wise and caring leader. Whether it was giving of her spare time to coordinate and organize our kid’s church, starting her own conference (@engagedyxe what’s up!?!?), or leading a small group (#WalksAndTalks), Kara is a... natural born leader. You are going to WANT to be seated around Kara’s table, because you will leave having been changed for the better! Kara, we love you, we are proud of you, and we appreciate you so much! TABLE LEADERS BRITTANY + GREIG *Cute Couple Alert* Meet the Everetts! These newlyweds started attending South Point just a few months after their wedding, and they have been a part of the family ever since! Brittany and Greig are two of the nicest people you will ever(ett) meet! They are calm and quiet with the ability to make you feel at ease, from the moment you meet them! ... Whether it’s showing up early to greet people on a Sunday morning, or showing up in an emergency to tow your car (#ThanksGreig ), the Everetts are the definition of servant-hearted. We have LOVED getting to know these two over the last year, and we know that YOU are going to love getting to know them, too. Gather around Britt and Greig’s table, because there is always a seat for you! [If you would like to be a part of this table group message us and we will connect you with the Everetts 2.0 ]

If you are looking to serve this Friday at the drive in Movie night we have a couple of positions...... 1. Ticket Master. You need to download an app (we’ll give you) and you will be the ticketmaster for the event. You will scan peoples tickets as they enter. 50 cars per show. With great power comes great responsibility! We need 2 people for this. 2. Popcorn Jedi. You will be serving and handing out popcorn to cars as they enter. You have to be on your toes. You have to have reflexes like a cat. The agility of a sloth and the strength of mountain billy goat. 3. The Crew. You will help with setup and tear down. Cleaning up. These helpers are the silent assassins of the night. The ninjas. They will sneak in and out, do their jobs, and no one will ever know they were there. We are asking all volunteers to be there for 7:00pm. Please bring a mask with you. South Point Church volunteers will park in the bank parking lot. ***This is a wonderful serve opportunity for our church in the community. We are there to help out in anyway possible.***

TABLE LEADER CARLY MORRIS If you know her, you love her, and if you don’t know her, you’re missing out! Carly Morris is one of the OG team members of South Point! (She told Matt he was planting the church, whether he liked it or not ) Amazing friend, caring nurse, energy bringer, and straight shooter... those are just a few of the words to describe Carly. ... Carly is a new homeowner, that has recently started her bi-weekly, kind of random, Sunday-brunch-table group. The group gathers together and eats brunch while they watch the South Point message live. Brurch. Or Churnch. Maybe it’s Chrunch? You can literally call it whatever you want, because none of them are easy to say. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to gather around Carly’s table... it’s filled with Magnolia recipes and Joanna Gaines inspiration. TABLE LEADER Nicole Anderson . Meet Nicole! She started attending South Point last year, and quickly jumped into being a part of our community! Nicole is involved and gifted in many areas of life, whether is helping out on our music team, or stepping in when there is a need - she has proven to be a faithful and vital part of our church family. ... Nicole is currently a student at the U of S, and works part time. She is funny, down to earth, driven, and beautiful from the inside out! We are excited to see the group that forms around Nicole, and how they will grow together, around the table. LEADER SPOTLIGHT: Vern + Taylor . This cute couple (yes they really are THAT good looking!) are one of our new Table Group Leaders. High school sweethearts, parents of two beautiful girls, new home owners, and committed team members of South Point... Vern and Taylor have a lot to offer as leaders. ... They have been dreaming and praying for the day when they could own a home to host others in... and that day is here! To sit at their table will be a blessing and a privilege! We are excited to see what God has in store for this group as they gather around the Everett’s table.
