Hello South Pointe Dental patients, The Manitoba Dental Association has announced that dental offices may resume with non-urgent dental treatment including dental cleanings and filling appointments after June1st. We are restructuring our schedule to implement Manitoba Health social distancing and infection control protocols. Over the next couple of weeks those patients who had appointments cancelled due to the pandemic will be contacted to reschedule.... We are welcoming back Dr. Mitani who spent last week providing dental services to several villages in Guatemala. Although working in hot weather conditions Dr. Mitani shared that it was a very rewarding experience and met many amazing people!

A couple of weeks ago we had the opportunity to participate in a kindness day organized by Drs Johal and Mitani. Our goal was to make people smile and spread kindness in any way we could. Some of our gestures included buying coffee and donuts for hardworking hospital staff and firefighters, dropping off food to a local breakfast program, handing out gift bags to people in need and donating to various programs and organizations. While we approach the Christmas season we are reminded to always be encouraged to keep the less fortunate and hardworking in mind and give back in any way possible, big or small.
