In light of the recent announcement we will be in lockdown for another two weeks. The seniors centre will remain closed until the lockdown is lifted. Please stay safe everyone as we all get through these difficult times.

As 2020 finally comes to a close I can't help but think how lucky our department is to have such an amazing crew. I would like to thank all of our firefighters... for their steadfast commitment to protecting and serving our community. Despite all the challenges that 2020 has brought us your commitment and dedication was unwavering. I wish you all a Happy New Year. Risto

Mikisew Park A limited amount of parking is available for self-guided winter day-use opportunities such as hiking and snowshoeing. Park operations remain closed for the winter and there are no facilities or services available including washrooms. Ontario Parks

The executive at the South River Friendly Circle would like to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas. As we will be in lockdown starting December 26 for two weeks the centre will be closed. Stay tuned for posts in the new year when we will be back open. All the best to you and families.

Having a membership means you can drop into the seniors centre anytime there is a programme going on. Don’t want to sew? You can always go downstairs and play pool or shuffleboard! Don’t like yoga? Maybe grab a deck of cards with a friend and enjoy the safe space the Friendly Circle has to offer.... Or grab a book and relax in a chair for an hour.
