Our trails system is slowly swinging into gear. We need more snow. Guys are trying hard as they can to keep up. We are very privileged to remain open as many ot...her sports etc. cannot. A friendly reminder to ride your Health Unit and close to home. Camp Connewango and many other establishments will not be available for food or fuel during the lockdown. Please be prepared. Please do not park in the Camps parking lot, don't gather in large groups. Practice masking, social distancing. Together we will beat this crisis and be stronger next year. Its tough on all of us I know. Including our volunteers, landowners, riders and local businesses. Ride safe, ride sober, ride your side. Enjoy the outdoors. Thank you for being understanding and considerate. Refer to the ITG for trail availability and conditions. See more

We know you're as upset as we are seeing posts about trespassing and snowmobilers going off marked trails. WE NEED YOUR HELP in showing our support and appreci...ation to our AMAZING LANDOWNERS who generously donate their land each winter for all of us to enjoy. If you're reading this, we know you likely aren't part of the problem but we hope you can be a part of the solution by holding your riding friends to the same standard! Thank you for riding marked trails and doing your part to ensure we have trails to enjoy for many years. #friendfriday See more

A landowner property the club has been grateful to have for many years is in jeopardy this season because someone decided that they could take advantage of this... landowners generosity and trespass on his property. Our club members and volunteers work hard to outline the trails and place signage on private property to make sure sledders know where they can travel safely and without causing damage. The majority of the snowmobile family follow the rules and the landowners and the club thank you for that. However this small minority group who think only of themselves and have no respect for others are creating a very real problem. Many clubs are also dealing with this and it is creating the loss or re-routes of many trails which also costs time and money. If we lose this section of the D104 trail, there will be no choice but to run the road 4kms from Musky Bay rd. to St. Charles. PLEASE STAY ON TRAIL AND RESPECT OUR LANDOWNERS!!!! See more

Many anxious snowmobilers are already contacting the OFSC to ask what today’s Ontario announcement means for snowmobiling. Rest assured that no one wants to kno...w more than we do. But given that the government took 5 days to put their announcement together and that it hasn’t yet updated the supporting regulations, please be patient while we take the required time to assess what if any change may be needed to the message we’ve been delivering since the current shutdown started on Dec 26 - ride locally on available (Yellow or Green) OFSC trails within your public health region while following all public health measures. We’ll post our update as soon as the Province provides more clarity.

Starting to show a little yellow on the ITG. Volunteers have been hard at work packing, brushing and flooding. It’s been a difficult start to the season with a lot of wet areas that are not freezing with the mild temperatures we’ve been having. Please stay off of closed trails! Refer to the Interactive Trail Guide for current trail status.

We are receiving calls from concerned land owners regarding atv’s on snowmobile trails. This activity is considered trespassing and is a risk to the future of our trail system. Please stay off private land until trails are available for snowmobiling. Please refer to the ITG for trail status information.
