Challenge: Create an automatic delivery system for Halloween treats. I think of a motion sensor hooked to a Raspberry Pi which controls a motor that moves a bucket wheel that scoops candy into a chute... what’s your idea??. #safeHalloween

Patching a tire is hard. In space, it is even harder. Rovers designed for the Moon and Mars are built to withstand rough terrain and minimize the risk of punctu...re, with superior wheel grip and traction. This is why we put our rovers through a series of field tests to replicate lunar and Martian terrain. These "out-in-the-field" exercises put rover prototypes in harsh environments to test navigation systems, practise collecting samples, validate the time and tools needed to execute specific rover operations, and identify possible problems: https://www.asc-csa.gc.ca//rovers/mission-simu/default.asp.

Makerspace is a term used to define areas where creativity and innovation can flourish. It doesn’t have to be building a robot (but who doesn’t want a freakin’ robot!!!) but an area designated to allow an individual opportunities to discover through creation. Start small with everyday craft items and work your way up to bigger tools that follow your interests! Design thinking is the use of those maker skills to solve everyday problems. What’s your problem? Mine is outdoor solar lighting that’s waterproof and hidden from sight during the day...hmmm. Ideas?
