I am thinking of taking up a trade this is dieing and haven't seen in years,Leather working,It's something from my childhood I loved as I sat and watched my father do it and let me do some things once and a while.leather lasts for many years likely would last longer then us.its a big investment but I do believe it's important to keep it alive.
