Bryce and Troy delivered two truck loads of food donations and New Toys to Moncton’s Headstart. The Three local Basketball Associations here in the Codiac area (SMBA, MBA, and RMBA) collected donations for the past 4 weeks! Hats off to our basketball community!

SMBA-ABMSE has initiated a Food and Gift Drive this holiday season to support families in our community in need. We have invited Riverview Minor Basketball Association and the Moncton Basketball Association to partner on the project in hopes of filling the bin. We are asking each player to make a donation of a non-perishable food item and Christmas gift at each practice they attend at the Moncton Coliseum. The bin, supplied by the Moncton Coliseum, is located in Agrena C ju...st as you enter via Entrance C. We are also accepting cash donations to the cause. OPEN TO ALL U12 AND U14 PLAYERS REGARDLESS OF ASSOCIATION SMBA-ABMSE is hosting open gyms starting September 22 for 3 weeks, 2 times per week. There will be 2 sessions for U12 and 2 sessions for U14. Cost will be $60 for 6 sessions. The U12 sessions will run on Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 7:30pm and on Thursdays from 5:15pm - 6:30pm. The U14 sessions will run on Tuesdays from 7:30pm - 9:00pm and on Thursdays from 6:30pm - 7:45pm. Space is limited, please contact [email protected] to register or to inquire for more information. I received a few emails asking about who can play/tryout for NXT.... Anyone! It doesn’t matter if you live in Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Salisbury, Sackville,... Etc... the Club basketball scene has evolved over the last few years, and players can now choose their program of choice. Some may not like that...,but some just may.
