A couple of figures that I photographed and just finished editing for the upcoming book centered around the African collection at MOA

Dogon Monkey Masks I haven’t posted anything here in a while but I’m around, I’ve been busy like a little Among other things I’m doing photography for a book on African art. I love taking photos of art, every object is different and comes with its own set of challenges (just like a person) not only in terms of lighting but also in how it can be placed for a shot. Some are really delicate, others are sturdy but just don’t want to cooperate and stay in the same position. I find that I treat every photo like a family portrait, I come up with a story about each member and create relationships between them Are you able to find playfulness in your work?
