Did you know that Costa Rica has a completely fascinating indigenous culture? Yeah, neither did I! Costa Rica may not have the stunning ruins of other Central ...American countries but that doesn't mean it's not still rich with indigenous history and culture! As someone who plans on staying here a while and someone fascinated by history, I've made it a goal to learn as much as possible about the several indigenous groups here in Costa Rica. So far this year, I've been lucky enough to visit indigenous territories in two different parts of Costa Rica and learn so much just by asking questions at an indigenous art gallery here in Playas del Coco!
