Food for thought Heres a picture of a woman who originally came in to see us for arm pain. In the first picture you might notice it looks just like a woman in a forward facing position.... If you slide to the second picture you will see her hands are at different heights, indicated with a blue line. In the 3rd picture you will see that in fact, her whole left shoulder has dropped - and thats why she might be experiencing arm pain. Mom comes in with her 2-month-old baby girl, she was referred to us by another mom. Mom brings her baby in because she is displaying signs of colic inconsolable crying, in a rigid extension position often, does not poop for a few days at a time. Mom comes in today for the babys 5th adjustment and says that she cries way less, poops at least once a day and can focus on her older sister, easier to hold because shes less rigid and overall has a much calmer demeanour. Stories from the Studio Woman in her 30s starting to come to see Whitney for regular headaches. She had her first adjustment last week. Stories From The Studio Mom brings in 6-year-old son to see Whitney and tells us he has been complaining of ear pain for the past couple of weeks. GP diagnosed him with an ear infection and gave him a prescription for antibiotics mom decides to wait on giving him the antibiotics and calls us. Within a day or two of his adjustment Mom says he is not complaining of ear pain as much. He has had 2 more adjustments since then and Mom says he is no longer complaining of ear pain. I wanted to share some positive news about 3 practice members in hopes of a change from the negative stuff were seeing online these days. 1st practice member. Young man in his 20s has been suffering from digestive issues, vomiting up to 10 times a day, losing weight - rated his suffering as a 10 (worst imaginable) FOR OVER A YEAR. Hes been seeing Whitney for the last 3 months and mentioned to her the other day that he doesnt throw up anymore.... 2nd practice member. Young 10 year old boy with epilepsy who suffers from several seizures a day. His mom told Whitney the other day that after each adjustment he has decreased seizure activity and would like to bring him in more frequently. 3rd practice member. 2 month old baby came in for her first visit. She cries non-stop, doesnt poop regularly, completely ridged and visibly uncomfortable most of the time. 2nd visit mom mentions that she pooped again (pooped right after her first adjustment) and is much calmer.
