CHOCOLATE PROTEIN MUFFINS
SOOO, I haven't posted anything for awhile and I apologize!! Here is my weekly lunch prep! I forgot to video all the steps and ingredients so here they are : half a red pepper - sliced half a yellow pepper - sliced ... 1 small zucchini - cubed handful of asparagus - halved handful of broccoli - cut 1 pkge of lean ground chicken half bag of low sodium taco seasoning 3 cups cooked brown rice Bake the veggies on a sheet pan seasoned with pepper, vegetable seasoning, and olive oil until veggies are tender and how you like!
I love this picture because the message is so REAL. So many of us turn to food in a time of sadness, anger, anxiousness, loneliness, WHATEVER it may be. While exercise is so underestimated in those same exact times! WHAT IF instead of turning to comfort food and the couch, you went for a run? or took part in a yoga class or picked up some weights? PHYSICAL ACTIVITY gives us ENERGY, decreases STRESS, prevents DISEASES, and makes us STRONGER!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! I had an eventful day to myself, visited the Canadian Fit Fest here in Edmonton, learned a lot from the various different booths about health, fitness, and nutrition, tried PARKOUR, and BARRE! Also ate a yummy rice bowl, and listened to two motivational speakers then I went to the gym and crushed my legs. Time for meal prep. It's been a good day
