Virtual Training Session for Interested Coaches/Volunteers On Monday, December 21st at 7:30pm, Jenna Smith and Nate McKibbon from Western University will be leading a virtual training session that will provide information for coaches, volunteers, and others interested in offering a virtual program for Special Olympic athletes. Western Campus Recreation in partnership with Western's Women's Basketball have facilitated a virtual program during the Spring/Summer and most recent...ly the Fall. They have found a lot of success and wish to share with others what they have been doing, but more importantly, how. Jenna and Nate will take you through some of the successes and barriers they have encountered over the past seven months. The session will be a 30-45 minute session with 15 minutes for questions and will provide ideas for games, and brainstorm topics and activities to reconnect and re-engage your SO athletes.
