Showing a few different styles with a variety of features.
We've done a couple of tutorial videos recently on applying FOE and binding using different techniques. Here's another tutorial by the Jalie Sewing Patterns / Patrons de couture on applying knit binding if a different fashion. When you have a lot of choices, you can do what suits your project best. https://jalie.com/blog/petit_binding/
When Laurie isn’t packing your fabric order she’s riding Luna. Laurie is wearing a @polartecfabric Windpro Stretch hoodie and tells me she also has Power Grid long johns underneath. We don’t just talk about performance fabrics, we live them! #discoveryfabrics #sewingactivewear #canadasews #selfsewn

Throw in a little night-reflective stretch for cuffs And you have the perfect cool weather running shirt. Thanks to Leanne E for sharing her make! Your sewing is so professional! #sewingwithknits #canadasews #sewsewsew #discoveryfabrics
Hunter is 14 and learning to sew! His first project was the @wardrobebymepatterns beanie made with @polartec Power Grid, a wicking base layer fabric. Today he traced the pattern, cut it out, and used an industrial straight stitch, serger, and coverstitch. Hunter is very into sports and will be making his own gear, so watch his journey!
It's very easy and more economical to make your own pocket zippers. You never have to hunt for a size, because you make what you need!
