A beautiful message from a non-speaking 11 year old boy. We need to hear the messages from people who cannot communicate verbally--there is so much to share. This is what motivates me to continue with S2C with my own son and become a practitioner myself. These "voices" need to be heard.

This study shows how nonspeaking autistic people are using letterboards to communicate their thoughts, ideas and dreams!! Often misrepresented by professionals ...as "low functioning and nonverbal", this study shows how nonspeaking autistic people have complex thoughts and simply need support and practice to teach their sensory and motor systems to work together to communicate NOT cognitive support.
