Please join Spectrum for our final event of the 2019/2020 school year! Toronto is home to Canada’s largest gay community. LGBTQ2S people have played a large role in the history of the city but are often overlooked in its retelling. Stories of queer Toronto can be found all over the city, including the street and parks around campus. Join Spectrum for a Queer History Walk starting at 5:00pm from 1 Devonshire Place. The walk will be approximately an hour long and will end in t...he Gay Village, or The Village at Glad Day Bookstore. The Village is a predominantly LGBTQ2S neighbourhood nestled within Toronto’s downtown core. Centred at the intersection of Church and Wellesley Streets, the area is packed with cafés, restaurants, gay-oriented shops and a vast array of hot bars and nightspots. You are welcome to explore the area after we end the tour. Hope to see you all there! Hopefully the weather is great and we can all take a well-deserved break from the hectic final month of school :) Please register below! https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/an-lgbtq2s-history-of-toronto-t
